Kim Victoria Cattrall, born on the 21st of August, 1956 in London, is a British and Canadian actor from Canada and Britain. She was best known for her character Samantha Jones on the HBO show Sex and the City. She was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for 2002 for Best Female Supporting actress. The same character was played by her in the movies Sex and the City 2008 and Sex and the City 2 2010. She was also known as the lead actor in Police Academy Big Trouble In Little China Mannequin & Porky's. There is a lot of talk about Kim Cattrall and the first idea that pops into your head is her part in the role of Samantha Jones in the popular HBO television comedy Sex & the City. The well-known actress' portrayal of the character of Samantha Jones has been a defining moment in her professional career. The actress became a household name and was recognized internationally via the sitcom. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. Her most well-known performance was in the comedy-drama film La Dolce Vita. The film won an Oscar and it was awarded the Golden Palm in Cannes Film Festival in 1960. It was also commercially and critically popular and critically acclaimed. Born in Skane Sweden she had a career as a fashion model prior to her acting career. She ultimately won an award at the Miss Sweden Contest. After moving in the US she started performing in a variety of films in small parts. The first movie credit she had was in the role of Venusian in Abbott and Costello Go to Mars. Then, shortly after, her role in Blood Alley won her the Golden Globe for Most Promising debutante.
